Delete your Chatixy account

1. Delete it yourself in the app

In the Chatixy app for iOS or Android, open Settings, find the Security group, tap Privacy & data, then tap Delete account.

You type a confirmation phrase and confirm it is you with your password, authenticator code, recovery code or passkey. Deletion starts right away and cannot be undone.

2. Delete it on the web

Sign in at chatixy.com, open Settings, choose the Privacy & Data tab, then select Delete account.

The same confirmation applies on the web. You can do this from any browser, without the app installed.

3. Request deletion by email

If you cannot sign in, write to info@chatixy.com from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it.

We may reply to that address to confirm the request, so that nobody else can delete your account. Confirmed requests are completed within 30 days.

4. What is deleted

Your account profile, sign-in credentials and passkeys, active sessions and push notification tokens are deleted.

If you own the workspace, the whole workspace is deleted with you: conversations, contacts, knowledge base, team chat and settings, together with the accounts of its other team members. Your subscription is cancelled.

If you are a team member in a workspace owned by someone else, only your own user is removed. The workspace and its data stay with its owner.

5. What is kept and for how long

Invoices and billing records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law, even after your account is gone.

Security logs are kept as described in our Privacy Policy. All other personal data is removed within 30 days of deletion.

6. Delete some data without deleting the account

You do not have to close your account to remove data. In the dashboard you can delete individual items, such as tickets, team chat messages, assistants and team members.

To keep a copy first, open Settings, then Privacy & Data, and choose Export my data. It downloads your account and workspace data as a JSON file.
