Choosing a persona
A persona bundles a name, avatar and speaking style for your agent. Chatixy ships with presets — from a friendly first-name helper to a formal product specialist — and you can build your own.
The persona shows in the widget header and shapes how answers are phrased; the underlying knowledge stays the same.
Tuning the voice
Combine a persona with AI instructions for fine control:
- Pick the persona closest to your brand voice
- Add instructions for specifics (“use British spelling”, “sign off with the agent’s name”)
- Test in the dashboard preview and iterate

- Match the persona to your audience — a developer-tools site can be terse and technical; an e-commerce store should stay warm and reassuring.
